Mrs Pauline Majola

A mother of four, Pauline saw tourists coming to Soweto in their hired coaches and escorted tours wanting to experience the Soweto life. She soon realised that tourists needed to have an overnight accommodation to be able to truly experience Soweto. That was when Paline decided to start a bed and breakfast for tourists to stay in Soweto.

When her kids moved out of the house, she extended her home as a B&B guesthouse as it was too big for her. Assisting her are two part-time employees: Mr Ngwenya (Garderner) and MaTshabalala (Cleaner).

2006 AA Award winner for going an extra mile. 2005 AA Award winner of the recomended Traditional Accommodation.
