World famous South African Gold Reef City in
Johannesburg is a must see location situated in Northern Parkway, about 8 km. from central Johannesburg.

Gold Reef City that was built on the Gold Reef City mine that shut down in 1971, offers great attractions to its visitors. Its Casino complex, Theme Park, Town Square, Animal Farmyard, Birthday Club, Amphitheatre and 4D Movie Theatre worth spending great times and attracts all visitors.

At the Gold Reef City Theme Park, you may spend time at the variety shops and eating outlets. The Theme Park is for all ages. Entertainment and historical attractions is wonderful. The Park includes shops, hotel, restaurants, amusement park, gold mine with tours and casinos.

At the Gold Reef City Casino, you may spend time at the variety of quality restaurants and have excellent entertainment opportunities. Back O' The Moon Restaurant, Jazz Bar, Boston BBQ and Maestro Restaurant are world class dining and wining places. There are also quality coffee, tobacco and candy shops.

Gold Reef City's Casino is open 24 hours a day and hosts excellent entertainment atmosphere with its high educated staff and variety of gaming choices.

Gold Reef City's Lyric Theatre and Globe Theatre are Johannesburg's popular and world class entertainment venues. They present world class Broadway and West End productions, local and international musicians, etc.

How to Get There

From Pretoria & Sandton ;
Take the Ben Schoeman Highway M1 South Past Jhb City Center on the left. Take the Bloemfontein lane. Keep in the Bloemfontein lane, till you get Booysens exit. Take Booysens exit and follow the signs to Gold Reef City.

From Fourways & Randburg ; Take the N1 South (Concrete) Highway towards Roodepoort. Take the Randshow rd / Witbank exit. Take the Witbank lane onto the N12 East. Take the JHB lane onto the M1 North. Take the Xavier street exit and follow the Gold Reef City signs.

From O.R. Tambo International Airport ; Take the R24 lane towards JHB. Take the N3 Germiston lane. Take the M2 West lane. Take the Bloemfontein lane onto the M1 South. Keep in the Bloemfontein lane, till you get Booysens exit. Take the Booysens exit and follow the signs to Gold Reef City.
