Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve is a privately owned game reserve and one of the "Big 5 Tourist Destinations of Johanneburg" that is located in the
Cradle of Humankind Site, 40 km. on the north west of Johannesburg and 60 km. on the west of Pretoria in, Gauteng, South Africa. Founded in 1985, the reserve is a must see attraction in your
Johannesburg travel.
You are able to find all the Big 5 in the
reserve. The reserve hosts 600 head of game
that represents 25 different species from Lions,
extremely rare White Lion, Cheetah, Cape wild dog,
numerous birds, Lappetfaced Vulture, Impala,
Blackshouldered Kite, Hippo, White
Rhinoceros, Ostrich, Springbuck, Nile
Crocodile, Black Eagle, Wilddog, Gemsbok,
Blesbok and Black Wildebeest.
The facilities
in the Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve include; individual barbecue (braai) areas, a kiosk, restaurants,
Pygme hippo enclosure, curio shop, swimming pool, children's play park,
Wondercave and the Crocodile Pub where visitors
may enjoy a sundowner while they watch crocodiles
in a close range.

cave pearls, rim pools, wonderful
