Alan Gerson, one of South Africa's best
known restaurateurs has totally changed
direction with the opening of the White Boy
Shebeen. Having managed award winning venues
such as Les Marquis, The fiddler, Dentons
and most recently the renowned Herbert Baker
Restaurant. Alan decided that with the
exciting transformation taking place in
South Africa, the time had come for a
totally new concept, combining classic
cuisine with examples of traditional and
